Biomolecule assay chip |
abstract |
It is intended to provide a method of constructing a biomolecule assay chip by using microreactor techniques and a chip thus constructed. A method of constructing a chip having biomolecules having been immobilized in an aligned state thereon, which comprises: (a) the step of preparing a substrate (1) wherein a plural number of biomolecules (1) of a single type are immobilized in an aligned state; (b) the step of adding a reaction reagent for synthesizing biomolecules (2) in microreactors of a microreactor chip that has the microreactors at positions overlapping the positions of the aligned biomolecules (1) having been immobilized on the substrate (1) prepared in the step (a); (c) the step of closely attaching the reaction reagent for synthesizing the biomolecules (2) to the substrate (1) so as to bring it into contact with the biomolecules (1), thereby synthesizing the biomolecules (2) in the microreactors; and (d) after the completion of the step (c), overlaying the microreactor chip on a substrate (2) so as to bond the biomolecules (2) to the substrate (2); and a chip constructed by this method. |
