abstract A power device having enhanced drive efficiency and electricity generation efficiency. A first transmission (20) is connected between the output shaft (3a) of an internal combustion engine (3) and a driven section (DW, DW) that are connected to each other. An electricity generation motor (30) has a stator (32) for generating a rotating magnetic field and also has first and second rotors (31, 33). While the rotating magnetic field is produced, energy is inputted and outputted between the stator (33) and the first and second rotors (31, 33). With the input and output of the energy, the rotating magnetic field and the first and second rotors (31, 33) rotate while keeping a linear speed relationship so that the difference between the rotation speeds of the rotating magnetic field and the second rotor (33) and the difference between the rotation speeds of the second rotor (33) and the first rotor (31) are the same. Either of the first and second rotors (31, 33) is connected between the output shaft (3a) of the internal combustion engine (3) and the first transmission (20), and the other is connected to the driven section (DW, DW).
