The invention provides a fluidized-bed catalyst for the production of acrylonitrile which can attain high yield of acrylonitrile over a long time; and a process for the production of acrylonitrile with the catalyst. The invention relates to a fluidized-bed catalyst for the production of acrylonitrile which has a composition represented by the general formula: MoaBibFecWdNieMgfAgBhCiDjEkFlGmOn(SiO2)p wherein A is Ce or La; B is Ca, Sr, Ba, Mn, Co, Cu, Zn, or Cd; C is Y, Pr, Nd, Sm, Al, Cr, Ga or In; D is Ti, Zr, V, Nb, Ta, Ge, Sn, Pb or Sb; E is Ru, Rh, Pd, Re, Os, Ir, Pt, or Ag; F is P, B, or Te; G is Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, or Tl; SiO2 is silica; and when a is 10, b is 0.1 to 1.5, c is 0.5 to 3, d is 0.1 to 1.5, e is 0.1 to 8, f is 0.1 to 5, g is 0.1 to 1.5, h is 0 to 8, i is 0 to 3, j is 0 to 3, k is 0 to 3, l is 0 to 3, m is 0.01 to 2, p is 10 to 200, n is an atomic ratio of oxygen satisfying the valance of each element (except Si), and (ax2+dx2)/(bx3+cx3+ex2+fx2+gx3+hx2+ix3+mx1) is 0.90 to 1.00. |
