It is found that a compound represented by the formula (I) can ameliorate the glucose metabolism independently of the increase or decrease in body weight. The compound can be used as a glucose metabolism ameliorating agent. (I) wherein R1 represents a lower alkyl; R2 represents a hydrogen or a lower alkyl; and Z represents a lower alkyl which may have a substituent, a lower alkenyl which may have a substituent, an amino which may have a substituent, a lower alkoxy which may have a substituent, a cyclic hydrocarbon group which may have a substituent, or a heterocyclic group which may have a substituent. |
