abstract The invention describes a system for treating or coating substrate surfaces in an in-line process, in particular for coating substrates with a three-dimensional surface. The invention also relates to a coating device which can transport a number of substrates simultaneously between corresponding treatment stations. Corresponding methods for coating substrate surfaces are also described. The invention makes efficient, low-cost surface coating of substrates possible.
