abstract The invention relates to biologically active compounds based on natural vegetable raw material, to methods for the production thereof and to the use thereof in a medical clinical and public health practice. The inventive method for producing a wheat-germ oil concentrate consists in producing a wheat-germ oil, wherein said wheat germs are pre-dried to moisture content of 6-8%, in extracting it twice by cold pressing process with the aid of 92-93 vol.% ethyl alcohol at the component ratio of 1:3 and 1:2, respectively, in combining and precipitating the thus obtained alcohol extracts, and, after phase stratifying, in evaporating in vacuum at a temperature of 50-60°C until alcohol is removed. The thus obtained concentrate is used as a component for a medicinal and prophylactic agent which is used for restoring disturbed sexual functions and also contains selenium and zinc at the specified ratios. The inventive method makes it possible to obtain the oil enriched with phytosterols, different forms of tocopherols and carotinoids, thereby increasing the nutritional and healing properties thereof.
