The invention relates to dyes of general formula (I), where X and Y = H, Br or Cl, but not simultaneously H, R = F, Cl, Br, COOR<SUP>1</SUP> or CF<SUB>3</SUB>, R' = H or F, R<SUP>1</SUP> = C<SUB>1</SUB>-C<SUB>6 </SUB>alkyl, one of the groups W<SUP>1</SUP>and W<SUP>2</SUP> = hydroxy and the other nitro and Y is always ortho to the hydroxy group, wherein compounds in which R = Cl, bonded to the phenyl ring in the position ortho to the NH group and compounds in which W<SUP>1 </SUP>= nitro, W<SUP>2</SUP> = hydroxy, Y = H, X = Cl and R = Br bonded to the phenyl ring in the position meta to the NH group are excluded, mixtures of the above with further dyestuffs and the production and use thereof. |
