titleOfInvention Sycamore tree cream, method for the production and use thereof
abstract The invention relates to a sycamore tree cream that is in the form of a stable emulsion containing oil and water, and that is used to prevent betulinic acid in a galenic preparation containing water from crystallising. Said cream is characterised in that it contains between 2 to 10 wt.% of a sycamore tree extract obtained from the bark of a sycamore tree, 0.1 to 9.9 wt.% glycerol, 0.1 to 1.9 wt.% of a gelling agent and 5 to 15 % of a preservative. The used sycamore tree extract is obtained by extracting sycamore tree bark using a low alkanol. Said sycamore-tree cream is used for topically treating skin, including mucous membranes.
