It is intended to provide a biosensor, which can detect a target material to be recognized at a high sensitivity and has a stable structure, at a low cost. Namely, a biosensor capable of capturing and detecting a target material to be recognized, characterized by having a linker comprising a hydrocarbon compound having two or more specific functional groups, a molecule-recognizing peptide having been directly bonded to one of the specific functional groups of the linker, and a support having been directly bonded to another specific functional group of the linker. It is preferable that the specific functional groups are functional groups produced by the reaction between epoxy and amino groups. As the peptide, use is made of an artificially synthesized peptide containing a sequence consisting of three or more consecutive amino acids occurring in the part corresponding to the hypervariable region in the amino acid sequence of natural immunoglobulin. |
