A method for the determination of the binding activity between a compound of interest and splicing factor 3b (SF3b), comprising the steps of: (a) contacting a labeled pladienolide compound and the compound of interest with a cell or a cell fraction; and (b) determining the distribution of the labeled compound bound. The method enables to screen for a novel active compound capable of acting on (binding to) a pladienolide target molecule or the like. |
