abstract Disclosed is a method for producing a good aqueous fluorine-containing polymer dispersion having a low fluorine-containing surfactant content, wherein the fluorine-containing surfactant is efficiently removed by adjusting the pH. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing an aqueous fluorine-containing polymer dispersion, which is characterized by being composed of a contact treatment for bringing an anion exchanger into contact with a crude aqueous fluorine-containing polymer dispersion, which treatment is carried out while adjusting the pH of the crude aqueous fluorine-containing polymer dispersion to 2-9.
