abstract |
A liquid crystal panel comprising first optical film (4) bonded via first pressure sensitive adhesive layer (3) to the viewing side of liquid crystal cell (2) and comprising second optical film (6) bonded via second pressure sensitive adhesive layer (5) to the opposite side of the liquid crystal cell (2), wherein the first pressure sensitive adhesive layer (3) exhibits a creep shift length (L1) of 50 to 3000 μm and the second pressure sensitive adhesive layer (5) a creep shift length (L2) of 10 to 400 μm, provided that the creep shift length (L1) of the first pressure sensitive adhesive layer (3) is larger than the creep shift length (L2) of the second pressure sensitive adhesive layer (5). The creep shift length means the shift length exhibited one hour after application of a 4.9 N tensile shear force at 23°C to a bonding area of pressure sensitive adhesive layer of 10 mm2 and 20 μm thickness. This liquid crystal panel attains suppressing of light leakage at panel periphery caused by any shrinkage of optical film. |
