titleOfInvention | Strawberry huller |
abstract | This invention relates to a strawberry huller and it is formed by the assembly of a frame and a blade. It is characterized in that the frame is composed of a rectangular plate bent at 90°, which forms two rectangular surfaces – one vertical, one horizontal. The vertical surface has a rectangular through-hole, which makes the device for hulling lighter. Placed parallel to the vertical surface there is a clip in the form of an “L”, in an inverted position, which is secured in its upper part on the left-hand end of the horizontal surface. The space formed by the clip and the vertical surface is used for attaching the strawberry huller onto the wall of a tray or onto a work table. The horizontal surface has two slides bent in the form of a “U”, which run along the longer sides of said horizontal rectangular surface and serve as guides inside which a blade slides in a horizontal position. Said blade is a semi-rectangular blade whose right-hand end has a through-hole, in the form of a “V”, which is followed by a pyramidal elevation used to penetrate the strawberry and completely remove the entire length of the stalk. Said pyramidal elevation widens at the vertex of the hole and also on each of its longer sides has a change in level, for forming a space between the horizontal rectangular surface and the blade, so that at the time of cutting, the entire stalk is removed and so that the strawberry does not carry any impurities or remains of the stalk. At the right-hand end of the blade, at each corner, there is a semicircular “lug”, which acts as safety device, preventing the blade from being moved out of position. |
