titleOfInvention Process for the manufacture of primary diamines
abstract The present invention relates to a process for the manufacture of a primary diamine by hydrogenation of a dinitrile compound in the presence of a catalyst. It relates more particularly to a process for the manufacture of hexamethylene diamine by hydrogenation of adiponitrile. The process consists in recovering the diamine that has formed by distillation in several distillation columns mounted in series and comprising separation of the heavy impurities from the second distillation onwards.
