titleOfInvention Magnetic resonance imaging stent having inter-luminal compatibility with magnetic resonance imaging
abstract A stent includes a subset of struts having a notched formed therein and a conductor having a first end and a second end. The conductor is connected to the subset of struts at the notches to provide a mechanical connection between the conductor and the subset of struts. The conductor is electrical insulated from the subset of struts by an insulative material in the notches. The conductor is formed on a portion of struts within the subset of struts to form an electrical loop with an insulative material between the conductor and the struts. The first end of the conductor overlaps the second end of the conductor, the overlapping of the first end of the conductor and the second end of the conductor being located on a strut within the subset of struts. The first end of the conductor and the second end of the conductor have a dielectric material therebetween to form a capacitor.
