Disclosed is a methanol fuel cell cartridge which is composed of a container having a polyester resin layer. The polyester resin layer has a methanol vapor permeability coefficient at 40˚C of not more than 3 μg• mm/m2•hr and a cation index in methanol immersion test of not more than 30, and is produced by using a titanium catalyst. The methanol fuel cell cartridge is excellent in impermeability to methanol and oxygen (barrier performance), and can be smaller in size, lighter in weight and more transparent. In addition, the methanol fuel cell cartridge does not cause deterioration in battery performance of the fuel cell during operation, and can be produced at low cost. |
