titleOfInvention | Developer for photosensitive surface printing plate and method for treatment of photosensitive surface printing plate |
abstract | Disclosed is a developer for a photosensitive surface printing plate, which is an aqueous alkaline solution containing at least a compound represented by the general formula (1) below. The developer has good image-developing properties, can prevent the staining of the plate surface with a sludge accumilated in a developing tank and has an excellent print durability. Also disclosed is a method for treatment of a photosensitive surface printing plate. General formula (1): R1-(L)-(R2-O)n-H wherein R1 represents a branched alkyl group which has 20 or less carbon atoms in total and may have a substituent; R2 represents an alkylene group which has 1 to 10 carbon atoms and may have a substituent; n represents an integer of 2 to 100; and L represents -O- or -NH-, provided that multiple R2's may be the same as or different from each other. |
