The invention relates to a wound dressing, comprising at least one biocompatible support material and at least one polysaccharide, in particular, for application as a blood-stanching agent (haemostatic) and/or for joining separate body tissue regions, wherein the wound dressing has a layered construction of at least one layer of the support material (support layer) and at least one layer of the polysaccharide (polysaccharide layer). The invention further relates to a method for production of the wound dressing for application as a blood-stanching agent (haemostatic) and/or as adhesive. |
