abstract | In a method for fabricating a dissimilar material jointed body (1), two plate members (2, 3) consisting of dissimilar materials are laminated to obtain a plate member laminated body (4) and the two plate members (2, 3) are joined by heating the plate member laminated body (4). The method includes a step of heating the plate member laminated body (4) while it is sandwiched between a pair of pressing dies (5). The pressing dies (5) are made of a material having a heat transfer coefficient 1.5 times or more higher than that of at least one of the plate members (2, 3) constituting the plate member laminated body (4) and have taper portions (6) between holding surfaces (15) between which the plate member laminated body (4) is held and fixing ends (16) for fixing the pressing dies (5). The taper portions reduce in outer diameter from the holding surfaces (15) toward the fixing ends (16). |
