The present invention relates to polyorganosiloxane compositions which can be hot-vulcanized to form silicone elastomers, in other words can be vulcanized at material temperatures of generally between 100° and 200°C and possibly, where necessary, as much as 250°C. The invention also relates to the use of these compositions for - in particular - the production of primary insulants or casings forming part of the construction of fire-protected electrical cables or wires. The invention relates, lastly, to fire-protected electrical cables or wires manufactured using such compositions. |
