Immune agglutination reaction reagent kit and method of assaying antigen |
abstract |
It is intended to provide a method by which an antigen in a specimen can be directly assayed without pretreating the specimen in the case where there are only a small number of epitopes or there is a different epitope located close and thus the reaction with an antibody is carried out only at a low efficiency due to a steric hindrance or the like. Different latexes are sensitized respectively with two kinds of monoclonal antibodies recognizing different epitopes. After reacting a specimen with a latex reagent having been sensitized with one monoclonal antibody, the resultant liquid reaction mixture is further reacted with the latex reagent having been sensitized with the other monoclonal antibody. Thus, an antigen can be directly, highly efficiently and highly sensitively assayed without pretreating the specimen. |
