abstract An acrylic rubber obtained by polymerization of a monomer mixture composed mainly of an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer conducted in the presence of an addition cleavage type chain transfer agent, wherein the addition cleavage type chain transfer agent is used in an amount of 0.0001 to 1 part by weight per 100 parts by weight of the monomer mixture. The thus provided acrylic rubber exhibits enhanced roll workability and moldability while maintaining good ordinary properties and heat resistance.
