DKK-1 protein or nucleic acid sequence can be used in the manufacturing of reagents or kits for diagnosis of cancers which are selected from the group of liver cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer and glioma. Specific antibodies against DKK-1 protein or specific nucleic acid probes capable of hybridizing to DKK-1 which act as reagents for diagnosis of cancers, are made react with cell samples. The binding amount of the antibodies or probes can be obtained by dint of detecting the detectable labels which couple the antibodies or probes. Then the binding amount can be compared with a standard from normal cells. |
