abstract |
A polymer complex which has two or more kinds of pores capable of selectively taking up and/or releasing and/or transporting specific compounds ranging from gaseous low molecules to high molecules such as proteins and other living-body-derived molecules. The polymer complex comprises an aromatic compound serving as a ligand having two or more coordinating sites, metal ions serving as a central metal, and a non-coordinating aromatic compound. The polymer complex is characterized in that it has a three-dimensional lattice structure which comprises a stack structure comprising a three-dimensional network structure formed by coordinating the aromatic compound ligand to the central metal ions and the non-coordinating aromatic compound inserted between the aromatic compound ligand molecules, and that the three-dimensional lattice structure has two or more kinds of pores thereof, in which each kind of pores have an intrinsic affinity for a guest ingredient. It is further characterized in that the non-coordinating aromatic compound has a specific substituent (A) in a specific position on its aromatic ring and the substituent (A) has been regularly disposed so that it faces the inside of specific pores (B) among the two or more kinds of pores. |
