abstract |
It is intended to provide an apparatus for the real-time detection of a nucleic acid amplification product by which error-causing factors on the apparatus can be effectively eliminated or lessened without employing a second fluorescent signal to be used for the correction. A temperature cycle is applied to a plural number of wells (7A) and the fluorescent intensity from a nucleic acid amplification product in each well (7A) is detected in real-time. The measured fluorescence [DNA]raw obtained from the well (7A) and the measured fluorescence [DNA]bg obtained from the connecting wall in the neighborhood of the well (7A) are detected. By subtracting the measured fluorescence [DNA]bg from the measured fluorescence [DNA]raw, the fluorescence [DNA]real of the well (7A) is determined. |
