titleOfInvention Layered polarization film, phase difference film, and liquid crystal display device
abstract Provided is a liquid crystal device and in particular, a layered polarization film capable of increasing an angle-of-view of the IPS mode and roll-to-roll bonding a phase difference film and a polarization film. More specifically, the layered polarization film includes: a negative substantially one-axis optical film formed by a thermoplastic polymer having negative molecular polarization ratio anisotropy, a positive optical film formed by a thermoplastic polymer having positive molecular polarization ratio anisotropy, and a polarization film which are layered in this order. A delay axis of the negative substantially one-axis optical film is substantially parallel to a delay axis of the positive optical film, and both axes substantially orthogonally intersect an absorption axis of the polarization film. The main orientation direction of the polymer backbone of the negative substantially one-axis optical film is positioned substantially parallel to the absorption axis of the polarization film. The main orientation direction of the polymer backbone of the positive optical film is positioned substantially vertical to the polarization film.
