abstract The present invention relates to a getter for an organic electroluminescent device including a hygroscopic organic metallic compound that includes at least one hygroscopic organic metallic compound. The getter includes the highly hygroscopic organic metallic compound and thereby suppresses occurrence and generation of dark spots due to external moisture, and can improve a lifespan of the device. Additionally, the getter can be used for a rear emitting or front emitting device due to good light transmittance.
