System for automatically minimizing cardiac oxygen consumption and cardiac disease treating system using the same |
abstract |
[PROBLEMS] To provide a system for automatically minimizing cardiac oxygen consumption whereby the cardiac oxygen consumption of a patient can be estimated at a high accuracy and the cardiac oxygen consumption can be minimized, and a system for treating a cardiac disease. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A system (10) for treating a cardiac disease comprising: an input section (12) by which hemodynamic indicator(s) at least involving the cardiac rate of a patient (20) are input; a cardiac oxygen consumption monitoring unit (14) by which an estimated cardiac oxygen consumption of the patient (20) is computed based on hemodynamic indicator(s) input by the input section (12); and a cardiac oxygen consumption reducing unit (16) by which the cardiac rate input by the input section (12) is compared with the critical cardiac rate, at which the estimated cardiac oxygen consumption computed by the cardiac oxygen consumption monitoring unit (14) attains the minimum level, and the cardiac rate of the patient (20) is controlled based on the comparison results. |
