abstract |
The invention relates to a method and system for obtaining liquid salt and to the salts thus obtained. The method involves the use of the system in order to: a) convey water to a mixer/saturator unit; b) add a ground salt to the mixer/saturator unit; c) stir the mixture of water and salt until a solution with a maximum concentration is obtained; d) convey the solution obtained in step (c) to first reactors/mixers and modifying the pH thereof; e) convey the solution with modified pH to a flocculation reactor and treating same with flocculating agents in order to remove unwanted suspended particles; f) convey the solution obtained in step (e) to reactors/settling tanks designed such that the unwanted particles are deposited on the bottom of same; and g) convey the supernatant solution from said reactors/settling tanks to a neutraliser container and neutralising the solution, such as to obtain a saturated sodium chloride solution which forms the liquid salt. |
