abstract This invention relates to shoe outsoles, for sport and street wear, which exhibit a resistance to the adherence of foreign material. Into the outsole is formed a plurality of surface micro-features of preferred size 5 to 200 microns inclusive. The micro-features typically comprise nodules, ridges, grooves or other features. Their height and distance of separation are typically within the preferred 5 to 200 microns range.
