The invention relates to a novel anticorrosive coating for metals, a method for the production thereof, and the use thereof. According to the inventive method, a) a sol-gel composition obtained by reacting at least (i) a glycidyloxypropyl alkoxysilane, (ii) an aqueous silica sol having an SiO2 moiety of more than 1 percent by weight, (iii) an organic acid as a hydrolysis catalyst, and (iv) n-propyl zirconate, butyl titanate, or titanium acetylacetonate as a crosslinking agent, is applied to the metal surface and is dried and/or hardened, and b) at least one additional layer is applied to the sol-gel layer and is dried and/or hardened. |
