abstract Disclosed is an electrode device for plasma discharge, which generates a nonequilibrium plasma for processing a gas. Specifically disclosed is an electrode device for plasma discharge comprising a base composed of a ceramic integrated sintered body, an electrode embedded in the base, and a catalyst supported by the base for accelerating reaction of a gas. This electrode device for plasma discharge is characterized in that the porosity of the base surface is higher than the porosity of the base in the portion near the electrode.
