abstract A reaction vessel holding a liquid agitated by sound waves; and a relevant analyzer. Reaction vessel (7) includes two openings (8c) functioning as liquid introduction discharge ports and retention member (8) having two openings and holding a liquid between the openings, the retention member on its side face or in the vicinity of side face provided with sound wave generating means for irradiating the inter-opening region with sound waves capable of liquid agitation. The two openings (8c) are disposed opposite to each other. The retention member (8) is arranged in the vertical direction. One of the openings (8c) disposed inferiorly in the vertical direction has an area smaller than that of the other opening (8c) disposed superiorly in the vertical direction.
