titleOfInvention | Oligonucleotides directed at the 23s ribosomal rna gene of acidobacteria and use thereof |
abstract | The invention relates to oligonucleotides which are directed at the 23S ribosomal RNA gene of acidobacteria and to the use thereof. The rapid detection of bacteria is essential for determining the role of same in different processes, both of beneficial and harmful organisms. The purpose of the invention is to develop characteristic sequences that can be used to identify acidobacteria and the subgroups to which they belong in a quick and effective manner. Said bacterial division was identified based on previously-unknown sequences of the 23S ribosomal RNA gene of acidobacteria. Said oligonucleotides can be used to prepare primers for use in DNA amplification reactions as nucleic acid probes or for use in DNA/RNA arrays. The detection of acidobacteria and the differentiation of the subgroups thereof can be used with samples of different types, but preferably with environmental, biological and/or medical samples. |
