abstract Disclosed is a recording material excellent in scratch resistance and tamper prevention, wherein a plastic layer and an ink-receiving layer are sequentially arranged on a supporting body in such a manner that the supporting body and the plastic layer are separable from each other. By having such a structure, the recording material enables high-quality printing even when printing such as inkjet printing is performed on a substrate which is composed of a resin other than PVC. Also disclosed is a method for easily producing a printed matter or a card with high yield by using such a recording material.
