A resin composition characterized by comprising (A) a polyamide having a viscosity number of 50 to 250ml/g (as determined in 96% sulfuric acid according to ISO307:1997), (B) polyphenylene ether, and (C) a phosphinate salt represented by a specific general formula. The composition is excellent in flame retardance, impact resistance, and the ability to form thin-wall products, while the composition little generates gas in processing in molding and is remarkably reduced in mold deposit in injection molding. Thus, the invention can provide moldings excellent in surface appearance. |
