abstract The invention relates to a non-woven fabric which is intended to be used in a disposable absorbent article. According to the invention, a formula is added to the fabric during the production process in order to change the water affinity thereof and/or to confer any desired property on same. The aforementioned formula contains an indicator medium which enables the application of the formula along the length and width of the fabric to be detected during the production process, without requiring laboratory tests. The indicator medium can comprise an optical indicator, a thermal indicator or a dye.
