titleOfInvention Liposomes loaded with fullerene and process for their preparation
abstract Liposomes loaded with fullerene are described, together with the related preparation which comprises the following steps: a) dissolving fullerene in a solvent; b) adding a phospholipid to the solution obtained in step (a) and mixing until the complete disappearance of the fullerene; c) eliminating the solvent, thus obtaining the phospholipid/fullerene complex; d) diluting the phospholipid/fullerene complex with water thus obtaining liposomes loaded with fullerene, the above fullerene being directly bound to the liposome membrane. The liposomes of the present invention have a high skin absorption capacity and an excellent anti-oxidizing capacity.
