[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A packaged roll or sheet of an aromatic hydrocarbon ion-exchange membrane which comprises a roll or sheet of an ion-exchange membrane and a packaging sheet material provided on the outside of the roll or sheet, the ion-exchange membrane comprising an aromatic hydrocarbon polymer having an ionic group, and the packaging sheet material having a water vapor transmission rate of 0 to 30 g/(m2ยท24h).
