abstract A biocide composition comprises a combination of at least two biocide components, wherein the first component is embodied in the form of l,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one and/or N-methyl-1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one and/or N-methyl-1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one and the other components are embodied in the form of a silver component, for example in the form of organic or inorganic silver salts, colloidal, particle silver or a silver oxide. The inventive composition exhibits a large spectrum of activity against different bacteria and fungus.
