abstract The present invention provides a detergent composition for hand-washing, containing a polymer 90% by mass or more of which monomer unit is composed of ethylene oxide, the polymer having a viscosity-average molecular weight of 1,500,000 or more and 4,500,000 or less being contained in an amount exceeding 0.03% by mass and 5% by mass or less of the detergent composition. The detergent composition for hand-washing and the laundry detergent composition can be suitably utilized as a hand-washing detergent.
