abstract |
A flexible polyurethane foam having satisfactory vibrational properties and excellent sound-absorbing properties; and a process for producing the flexible polyurethane foam. The process for producing a flexible polyurethane foam comprises reacting polyol compounds with a polyisocyanate compound in the presence of a foam stabilizer, a blowing agent, and a urethane formation catalyst, wherein the polyol compounds comprise a polyoxyalkylene polyol (A) obtained by the ring-opening addition polymerization of an alkylene oxide using a composite metal cyanide complex catalyst, having oxyalkylene groups, and having a degree of unsaturation lower than 0.04 meq/g, a polyoxyalkylene polyol (B) obtained by causing ethylene oxide and a C3 or higher alkylene oxide to undergo ring-opening random addition polymerization with an initiator, and a polyol (C) containing a polymer dispersed therein. |
