titleOfInvention Tool and method of making and using the same
abstract A method of making a tool comprises forming a copper layer consisting of discrete copper nodules. At least 80 percent of the nodules have a maximum width in a range of from 100 nanometers to 1 micrometer, and the layer is essentially free of platelet structures. The method may be used to make a tool having an endless textured surface. The tools are useful for making textured articles.
