abstract Sterilized eyelid cleansing pad which has been sterilized by exposure to gamma-radiation in a dose level of 2 Mrad (20 kGy) . The pad is impregnated with a cleansing composition comprising glycerine, EDTA, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate monobasic/dibasic', polysorbate 20, chamomile extract, lauryl glucoside, PVP. A process for production is described comprising the steps of preparing a cleansing composition, filling a sachet containing a folded dry pad with an amount of said composition, closing sachet by welding, sterilizing pre-moistened pad by exposing sachet to irradiation in a dose level of 2 Mrad (20 kGy) .
