abstract The present invention relates to a method for applying a layer to a surface. The present invention furthermore relates to an assembly consisting of a layer applied to a surface, and to a decorative panel built up of a core and a decorative layer on one or on both sides of the core. The object of the present invention is to apply a thin layer to a surface whilst effecting a good bond of the thin layer to the surface.
