Self-tanning composition having a uv protective effect |
abstract |
Disclosed are cosmetic or dermatological compositions which impart a natural and long-lasting tan to the treated skin even without the effect of UV radiation while protecting the treated skin from UV radiation. Furthermore, said cosmetic or dermatological compositions are suitable both for treating the skin and for application to hair so as to cover gray hairs or decrease the visibility of the regrowing hairline in order to be able to reduce the frequency with which the hair is dyed. The inventive cosmetic or dermatological compositions contain 0.01 to 15 percent by weight of tyrosine and/or tyrosine derivatives, and 0.000001 to 15 percent by weight of alpha-MSH mimetics and/or agents stimulating beta-endorphin synthesis and/or beta-endorphin release. |
