titleOfInvention Cellulose ester film, process for producing the same, polarizing plate using said cellulose ester film, and liquid crystal display device
abstract This invention provides a process for producing a cellulose ester film, which can efficiently develop a phase difference value, is small in a variation in the phase difference value, has excellent stability, and has no significant haze, and a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display device using the same. In the production process, a cellulose ester film containing fine particles, which are acicular and have birefringence, is produced by a solution casting method, and the production process is characterized by comprising previously preparing a fine particle dispersion liquid containing at least the fine particles and a resin for dispersing the fine particles, then mixing the fine particle dispersion liquid, a solvent, and a cellulose ester together to prepare a dope, and solution casting the dope.
