titleOfInvention Solid transdermal therapeutic system comprising uv absorber
abstract The invention relates to a novel solid transdermal therapeutic system which comprises UV absorber and is designed particularly for photosensitive active pharmaceutical substances. Said UV-stable transdermal therapeutic system (TTS) is composed of a rear layer (1), at least one active substance-containing matrix (2), and a peelable protective film (3). An adhesive layer (4) and a separating layer (5) are selectively inserted between the rear layer (1) and the active substance-containing matrix (2). UV absorbers from the group of hydroxyphenyltriazines can be embedded in the rear layer (1), the active substance-containing matrix (2), or the adhesive layer (4). The inventive TTS is provided with great stability while having a low UV absorber concentration, thus preventing or reducing especially the risk of a potential skin irritation.
