A method for the user terminal to obtain the access position information, and a user terminal, and a server with dynamic host configuration function, extending the DHCP, adding the new DHCP options which contain the access position information of the user terminal; when the user terminal accesses the network, DHCP server sets the DHCP options in the DHCP answer message; the user terminal receives the DHCP options, and obtains the access position information from it. In prior art, when terminal moves or roams to another access network, it needs to manually change the access network information in the terminal, and it needs to do more work, and it is not flexible, but the scheme provided by the present invention can overcome the aforementioned drawbacks, and make the user terminal obtain the own access position information automatically, and support the moving or roaming for terminal. |
