abstract |
The invention relates to a method for producing isocyanates comprising the following steps: (1) producing a raw MDA mixture by reacting aniline with formaldehyde, during which the reaction conditions are selected so that the resulting raw MDA can be completely transformed into the gas phase; (2) transforming the raw MDA mixture from step (1) into the gas phase, and; (3) phosgenating raw MDA in the gas phase to form MMDI and PMDI. |
